Here is our baby capsule hire faq where we try to answer the questions you as a parent may have but kept getting confusing answers.

Is a Deposit required for baby capsule hire?

Yes a $50 security deposit is required,

What Delivery Fees are applicable ?

Hospital Delivery – $35
Out of Area delivery – $65

What is your Refund / Cancellation Policy ?

Cancellations by the Hiree must be in writing or electronic means, Should you provide notice of at least 7 days and not less than 72 hours notice from your hire commencement date, we will provide you a 50% refund of fees paid excluding the security deposit via the same method you have paid. Should you require a refund please contact us on 0479 168 579 or via email.

No refund will be given when 72 hours or less cancellation notice has been given. Any delivery charges (if applicable) will be refunded.

There are no refunds if products are returned early or there is a change of mind after the delivery of the Products.

Are you Accredited Fitters ?

Yes we are all Acri or Kidsafe Accredited and Trained Professional Fitters.

Do you Install the Baby Capsule / Car Seats ?

At Mwapate Capsule Hire, we install your baby capsule / baby car seat for free and demonstrate how the capsule / baby car seat is used

The normal car seat fitting cost is $50. Unlike many other hire companies we are Professional Accredited Child Restraint Technicians, trained by the ACRI(Australian Child Restraint Resource Initiative).

Can I extend my capsule /baby car seat hire ?

Yes, Please Contact Mwapate Capsule hire 2 weeks before your due date. After the initial hire period; the hire period can be extended at the rate of $40 per month.

Are you Insured

Yes Mwapate Capsule hire is Insured for the hire of baby equipment and the installation of child car restraints

How new is your equipment ?

At Mwapate Capsule Hire, all our equipment is purchased new. All our equipment is less than 10 years of age and is checked and maintained on a regular basis.

What is your Cleaning Policy

The covers of the capsule/car seat must be washed prior to pick up, when serious soiling happens. It is not required to re-assemble the baby car seat / capsule.

Should any item be returned uncleaned and require an excessive amount of cleaning, we reserve the right to charge a cleaning fee.

At Mwapate Capsule Hire we only hire out the Best Car seats and capsules.

We have been involved in an accident What do we do.

Should you be involved in any type of car accident; you need to inform us of what has happened. We will replace your car child restraint with another capsule/car seat should it be required. Additionally you will also need to complete a statutory declaration; declaring the restraint has been involved in an accident. Where Police have attend the accident, a copy of the police report is required.

How do I make a Booking ?

Orders can be made by completing the online booking form. Mwapate Capsule Hire will confirm your booking within 24 hours. Alternatively you can call us on 0479 168 579. Once you have placed your order, you will receive a confirmation and invoice. Payments can be made by credit card or cash.

The Capsule / Car Seat was stolen What do we do.

If the product is stolen you will need to supply us with a written police report. If the product was not adequately secured in a locked vehicle or home, we will charge you the replacement cost of a new item.
