Maxi Cosi Mico Capsule Base

Issue with the maxi cosi mico /Titan Capsule

The Maxi Cosi Titan Capsule has one major issue; that does not manifest itself, until the capsule has been used extensively removing and clipping it back onto the base.

The design of the base has 4 independent locking latches, each with a separate spring to help close each latch. Over time one or more of these springs weaken; causing the remaining springs to be significantly stronger. When the release mechanism is pulled it does not release all latches.

The reverse happens when trying to put the capsule onto the base, the weakest spring requires more force causing the base to not lock fully.   This is a dangerous situation and the titan should be avoided at all cost.

Maxi Cosi Titan Capsule

The Length of the buckle strap on the maxi cosi titan capsule is so long that it reaches too high on babies. This issues has been corrected with the maxi cosi mico plus which has an adjustable buckle strap length.
